B.Confident Day Cream

B.Confident Day Cream

I have been eyeing up the B.Beauty skincare range for a while now, so when I went into Superdrug and saw the B.Confident Day Cream on offer, I thought what better time to try it out.

When I first opened the box, I thought the packaging looked really quite special. With its circular glass tub, frosted glass effect, and white screw top lid, the simple design and the thick weighty glass makes it look and feel extremely high-end. Really quite amazing for a product which only cost me £4.69.

This particular product is part of their skin phase 1 range, which is aimed at people between the ages of 20 and 30. I think it is great how they aim particular products at certain age groups. It is a known fact that skin changes as you move through various stages in your life, and it is important to use products which are best suited. It always makes me happy when there is an SPF within a product too. Our skin absorbs everything we put on it, so it is so important to make sure we protect it.

My first impressions of the actual cream was that it smelt great, and the consistency felt really nice. A slightly thicker consistency than your average face cream, however it was very hydrating and left my skin feeling extremely moisturised. As somebody who has slightly dryer skin than oily, it was the perfect product for my skin type.

Because of the thickness of the product, I feel as though it is best to use as soon as you wake up, and let it soak in properly before applying makeup. I work from home, so I don’t always wear makeup daily, but I still make sure to apply the B.Confident day cream every single morning, and I feel as though it instantly made a difference to my skin.

I highly recommend this product. It left my skin glowing, and feeling really soft. For anybody with oily skin, it might be a bit too oily, but worth a try, especially at such a low price point.

The product also goes a long way, as not much is needed at once. I feel as though the 50ml pot is going to last me a while, and even if the product had cost me the full amount of £9.49, it still would have been 100% worth it.

As you can see from the photo below, the vegan and cruelty-free signs are easily visible on the back of the product, making it extremely easy for us vegan & cruelty-free folk.

I am intrigued to try more of their range, especially after such a great experience with this B.Confident Day Cream. I have been eyeing up their Hylaluronic Acid Spritz and Blemish Gel. Both in the skin phase 1 range. Will keep you posted when I try them.
